    What made you decide to buy a mesa boogie?

    I tried a couple of amps and I just loved the sound the F series. I was never really into rectos since I like a cleaner sound. I could never afford them so I scrimped and saved for over a year before I even came close. As luck would have it.... an F50 came up at a good price and I just couldn't...

    Actually no. I didn't know you could request them to be properly rated for a mesa. They are : Platinum Matched PAIR of Reissue TUNGSOL 6L6GC STR. Interesting they are rated for 30 watts too....

    Alrighty, I ordered 2 tung sol 12ax7 and just in case I ordered 2 tung sol 6l6GC STR power tubes. Let's hope these resolve the problem.

    I just got my F50 and I tested it out. It seems that channel 1 is alot quieter then channel 2. I was Just wondering if it could be the preamp tube or power tube or something else? I don't think the level should have that big of a difference when both are set the same....

    If you are looking for a good pedal to go infront and you are in the UK, try and find a Jacques Fuseblower or a Tubeblower. Check out www.ts808.com . I have a fuseblower and if you have a good clean channel it can dial in some nice tones...
