Amen to that!!! I really like the Aldrich pickups and will eventually get rid of the EMG's in my other guitars. These pickups have character unlike the EMG's and the solo tones are great!!!

I have a Roadster head. After doing some reading, I am thinking about trying either the E34l's or KT77's. I have never heard either of them. Do the KT77's work well for a high gain tone? Do both of them have a good low end thump to them? Next, is it possible to just buy a pair instead of a quad...

would you describe the E34L's to be more of a crunchy or a chug tone. Can you acheive the thump of a Tremonti tone(example) with the E34l's? Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the help. The tubes I am going to replace are the SED 6L6's. I am thinking of trying something different just for the heck of it. I was thinking of putting in KT88's. Anyone ever tried these with their Roadsters? If I do go with them, I am between the JJ's and the SED's.

Can anyone explain exactly what the tubes are affecting? Example... Is V1 affecting the overall gain or the gain on Ch1 & 2 etc... V2? and so on. Also, what does the phase inverter do?
