    Show me yer hardwood!!!

Oh well, if it is that much, I'll have to wait around ebay for used. Keep the beautiful pics coming, please they're beautiful. One other thing, there are custom hardwood Marks, such as this: http://mesaboogie.com/gallery/gallery.php?id=391 Does that mean that the Mesa direct store has this...

    Whatcha guys think?

So does that mean, if you put the EVM 12L in a Mark IV, it would get closer to that tone? Because there are some on ebay. Also did Metallica use the IIC+ on the entire M.O.P. album, or just the Master of Puppets track? I really like the lead tones on the whole album, they're very smooth.

    BIG Mark IV problem!!!???

Check your fuse/s. Do you have a multimeter to test it?

    Show me yer hardwood!!!

Very nice man. What is the configuration of that cabinet? I want a dark color I think, like Bubinga or Imbuya. Does anyone know how much extra it is for the hardwood+wicker grill? Also, how much does the Mark IV weigh approximately? All my tube combos weigh a lot but I heard the Mark IV is...

    Show me yer hardwood!!!

Hey guys, I'm considering getting a Mark IV hardwood/wicker, but I'm having a tough time. I can't find any used Mark IV harwoods so that would mean I may end up buying a new one for $1950+ whatever the hardwood costs+tax, and that may add up to a real lot. Convince me!!! Show me pics of your...

    Whatcha guys think?

If there is even going to be a Mark V, right?

    Whatcha guys think?

Hey guys, If the Mesa Mark IIC+ amp is so highly sought after and famous, then why doesn't Mesa put out a reissue? It seems like a good idea because I'm sure alot of people would buy it. They could charge less than the original go for, and then the reissues would be cheaper, while the originals...

    The Famous...

I found some guys recording on thegearpage.net and it sounds insane, so smooth and warm. I want one!!! A hardwood one would be awesome, but I can't afford that now. I have the F-50, and I definitely need a Mark amp, the F-50 doesn't quite cut it for me.

    The Famous...

I thought it was pretty low gain, the amp model for it on my PODXT Live has barely any gain even with it cranked.

    The Famous...

Hey guys, I am very curious about the famous Mark II C+. I have heard great things from forums and internet. What do they sound like? Are they low gain or high gain? Do they sound like a channel from the Mark IV? The Mark IV is currently my favorite Mesa, althrough I haven't tried any other...

Stilleto Trident/Deuce vs. Mesa F-50 combo

Hey everyone, I have a little dilemma. At my local Guitar Center they have 2 Stiletto Tridents, and 1 Deuce for $850-899. I was stoked when I saw those prices. I have a Mesa F-50 combo right now, and I was going to buy a cab for it soon. I am really considering getting the Stiletto Trident for...

Guitar Center Blowing Out Stiletto Deuce / Tridents

I saw this. I really want a halfstack, I have an F-50 right now. I'm still deciding if I want it and if I do want it, how I will get it because I have no money now. They are pretty creamy in the tite gain/spongy channel, and crunchy in the crunch. The cleans are nice too, and they would...

    Wrong choice?

I tweaked for a while and got a pretty good rock setting with my Les Paul. I had fun jamming, I backed off the bass and it helped. My Ibanez and Gibson sound great with the humbuckers, but the Strat is lacking a bit. I am going to add a Dynacomp, digidelay, tubescreamer, and wah to my pedalboard...

    Wrong choice?

I'm not sure. I LOVE the clean channel. My rhythms on the drive aren't really as defined as I'd like to be. My lead is good but not amazing. I bought a 50 watt minimass, and I lost so much treble frequencies. I have heard sound clips of teh Mark I, III, and IV amps and they were amazing. I'm...

    Wrong choice?

Hey everybody, I bought a Mesa F-50 about 5 months ago and I like it but it's not that great. I have been hearing awesome soundclips all over the internet of the Mark series amp and I wonder if I should sell my F-50 to get one of these, like a Mark III or Mark IV. What do you guys think? The...
