Just curious, have not played an electradyne. Based on what they say about it it seems to be based on british amps as well. How does it compare to the stiletto and why would mesa introduce another british based amp. or would the stiletto be marshall and eletradyne voxy???

AMEN, crunch on 1 gain at between 12-1 o'clock and use guitar volume to clean up. Tite gain on channel 2 similar gain to you 11ish. I play classic rock and modern rock. I use tube rectifiers and 50watts on both channels.

just doing some amp maintenance. Tubes have not been changed for a couple of years and want to put in new ones. Power tubes are good/new but need to replace preamp tubes. what are you guys usuing in yours, any suggestions??

Good thing you put the flame suit on. What do you mean by entry level amp??? pretty good ENTRY LEVELif I do say so mayself! Granted it emulates a marshall but in my opinion sounds much better than most of the marshall's I have played.

Thanks for the replies so far. I guess my main reason for wanting the boost is to use on channel one. Ie: set one for clean, boost for that chanel to dirty it up and then use channel 2 for heavier stuff or solo.

Might be getting a stiletto deuce in the near future, just wondering what boosts you guys have been using. If things work out and I get it I am considering adding a boost to tighten things up a bit and give me a bit more versatility. The one I am looking at is the BB Preamp. Any other advice...

Playing through a mesa roadster, just wondering if any of you rectifier players use a compressor? how if any does it change to the tone?? if so any recommendations. I can get a good deal on an ibanez cp9 made in japan. Nevr really used a compressor before. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, yeah we noticed that too, but hey it was nice of him to do it so I'll take whatever I can. The roadster really is a great amp and very versatile.
