I've wiggled a couple of time the jack, in the beginnig there were some noise...now is dead quiet and the pop when I pass from standbay to on is only audible on the lead channel

I know that mesas work on pre mainly...anyway looks like to me too that the sweet spot is just before the amp start to distort between 3 and 4 I know that petrucci uses it set the master on 2 but does't he use the slave out and than goes into a 2:100 power amp?

I think we are near the solution...here what happens turn on the amp in standby lead channel (the lead channel is just louder) plug in a cord (with or without guitar) tur on the amp...remove the jack and the noise is re-create similar but short happens everytime I pass from stand-by to On...

the grey structure inside the tubes (so now I know what is a plate :D , Thanks) are ok...what looks to me different from the stock mesa tubes (Now I use Svetlana Winged C 6L6) is the metal stick inside the plates the are incandescent red...maybe is just because the kind of tube is different...
