    no, power really isn't the issue. i've just played different amps and one of them was a marshall 2204 clone with a shumacher tranny for the 60's. i know it was a totally different amp but it was 50 watts and mine was 50 watts and through the same cab the 2204 was just bigger and bader sounding...

    i've been thinking about doing an adjustable bias mod on my dc-5, would replacing the 22k resistor with a 10k pot and a 10k resistor be enough to adjust the bias to use el34s?

    you were right about the ground, i found it and it was loose. i took care of it this morning and now it's working fine! thanks for your help stokes!

    the lead pot was missing it's knob and it got pused in and the parts got loose, so i just put them back together and tightened the nut and it works fine now, how do i find the grounds?

    well i took care of a loose master volume pot for my lead channel when i tested it out the lead channel was fine but now my clean channel is messed up! i can only describe it as a really loud hum, i checked the pots and they look ok, i tested all the controlls and they seem to work( they still...
