    Rect-O-Verb clip

Thanks! Right now, it's impulses-only since I live in an apartment. :( I used the combo's FX Send into my recording interface. (always keep the speaker or a load plugged in, or you'll fry your amp's transformer) Then used two Recabinet 'Ghandi' impulses (blended the SM57 and 421 mics, don't...

    Rect-O-Verb clip

Bump for a new version. (see original post) Ditched my desktop speakers and got some proper monitors. Also ditched Addictive Drummer and picked up SSD. I rewrote some parts of the song, just messin' around. (not final version by any means) This is proof that monitors are HUGE factor in mixing...

Pickups for LP Std w/ Rectoverb

Thanks for the feedback guys! 8) I have messed with pickup height but did not have any favorable results. Just wondering...instead of changing pickups, would throwing an EQ in the loop (and maybe cut some of the highs) of the Rectoverb possibly eliminate the harshness I was talking about...

Pickups for LP Std w/ Rectoverb

Recently got a Rectoverb combo. KILLER amp. But would like to further improve my tone by picking up a pair of more hi-gain-friendly pickups for my LP standard. The current tone I get w/ the BB Pros is pretty good. But a little on the harsh side (too much treble). Especially when increasing the...
