I also agree. The Mark does have a lot of low end on tap also. Controls are very sensitive with a lot of range.

Exactly, Mark IV's have a lot of gain and it's all in the settings. I always had to back off the volume in between songs on gigs, just in the settings I preferred. But that's just the amp. You either get used to it or try different settings. It's not really an issue when you're playing.

I personally think that it's fairly normal for the Mark IV to feed back like that. I think both Marks I've owned have done that, and it's either turn the volume down when you're not playing or mute the strings. When I've demoed other Marks, they've done the same thing. There's just so much...

I had them put 2 V30's and 2 C90's in an x-pattern plus the logo change. I had such a long wait because of a contract issue/misunderstanding between my dealer and Mesa. Oh well, waits over now!

Nothing except placement of a couple switches. The graphic EQ and the lead voicing switches are on the back of the short head and on the front of the medium head.

Still waiting on mine. I ordered it in July. Yes, 'JULY!' Don't worry though. It was because of some contract issues with Boogie and my dealer. I should have it any day now. Pretty disappointing though, to say the least. Should take 2-3 months.

The springs in the reverb tank always rattle if you jar the head enough. Nothing to worry about.
