Both.. end of story.

This is how I tighten up my recto Ibanze tube scream 080 into a KfK dunlop 10 band eq... set he eq to a little extra bass... cut the mids (250Kh for sure) and boost the treble.

It has a very nice flow to it however, I wasn't a big fan of the solo/lead guitar going most of the time. Sweet song though!

Is there an issue with using speaker cables or am I fine? this is more so a $$$ reason. I would hate to go out an spend more money fixing a mistake

I only have a dbx 226XL gate/compressor in my effects loop. should I be using speaker cables or instrument cables in the fx loop? Because right now I have speaker cables as my send/return and my input/output. these ones to be exact: cept they are in my fx loop of course

if you do. Get it biased for the tubes you buy. And go with grove tubes

For a show I would like to rent another cab. Am I able to use the two 8ohms outputs on my dual rec into the two cabs rated at 8ohms? or one 8 and one 4? Someone explain this to me.

The Tubescreamer gives the recto that little bit of extra saturation that you need. It also tightens the amp up A LOT. Worth the money any day.

My 2002 dual recto gets enough power to turn on but once i hit the standby switch , so that the amps on, I get nothing. If I crank the volume I get this odd dist buzz inside the amp. It sounds like its coming from the black box (unknown name) inside and right by the tubes (v1). What could this...

Is there a way I can test and find out which tube or tubes have gone bad in my dual recto?

I just got a Peavey JSX with JJ tubes already in it from the store. My question is that; would I have to re-bias the amp if I was to run another brand of tubes inside of it? and would it change the tone drastically?

My mesa dual recto seems rather hard to play through. Is this a tendency of all tube amps? Its easy to gallope(sp) and palm mute on the SS amp but the recto seems rather harsh. Any tips or am I supposed to get used to this?
