I just scored me a .50 Cal+ on ebay for $500 shipped ! I am wanting to know if the chassis will fit into a MKIV or MKIII combo cab. I would like to put my new .50cal into one of those nice wood finished cabs with the cane grill. Are they the same measurements for mounting ?

I am kicking around the idea of getting me a Soldano Hot Rod 50 BUT......does it offer anything "tonally" that my Mesa Single Solo 50 can't deliver ? Anybody out there own or have owned both of these amps to give some good insight ? :roll:

I'm new here at "BB" but definately not new to tone. The Mesa "Rect-o-verb" & "Trem-o-Verb" amps are the most versitile amps in the mesa line IMHO. You get: -Good, clear cleans even at higher volumes ( think "Nashville Twang") -Good bluesy or "pushed cleans" (think "SRV" "Buddy GUY") -Real good...
