now with the volume. The buyer has to hit the amp on the top to get the volume to come up. any ideas as to what the prblem could be? The tubes were all wrapped separately and the amp was packed for a nuclear war. Never had this problem previous to shipping.

GTS just made this thing for me but I have no amp to put in it anymore. It is raw wood ready to be tolexed. Price is firm as it is a good deal. I could ship back to him and you can pay him to finish it if you want.

I wish. Going into a headshell for my old Matchless SC30, a new cab and paying some bills unfortunately. I will probably have my single Boogie cab for sale soon too (I need a 2X12). The amp is going to a great home and if you're recording in a certain studio on the San Fran Peninsula you can use it.

Amp is sold....evidently $2000 wasn't such a steep price.

Must be that "GEQ" thingy thats makes them so great. Just messin' with ya Brett but between here, the gear page and ebay I sure as hell haven't seen any fully loaded ones with wicker and wood selling for that price. I've seen heads with EQ's selling for a bit more than that. Be happy to sell you...

Not a scratch on it anywhere. Inside has been checked by local tech (& an email check over from Boogiebabies) and only has one screen grid resistor replaced. Other than that it is bone stock and perfect. It comes with the original preamp tubes (hand-numbered) and brand new Mesa 6l6s & SED...

Unfortunately, I have a mint simul-class I'm fixing to sell (I think). Still has the original tubes (all at 100%), EV12l, and not even a nick on the tolex. Course, it's black and doesn't have an EQ (tone sucker anyway :roll:) but hell it looks great. I just bought one of GTS' head shells too...

Yeah, I really like the 5751. I may put one in the V1 and move the Mullard to V2. It's cool experimenting anyway and there is still PLENTy of gain in the lead channel with the 5751 in it.
