Wow these cabs seems to be rare these days...

Pulled this speaker out of my '93 DC-3 combo. It was original to the amp so it is well broken-in. Replaced it with a C90 which is a much better fit for this amp (and my tone tastes). It will ship double-boxed just as I received my C90 (from gts). Asking $85 shipped/pp'd.

Haha, yea, 7.5 is about as high as I run the gain on that channel.

Keeping the preamp tubes, but the 6L6s are still up for grabs. Trade for a couple NOS tubes, perhaps?

Maybe so, but they castrated the amp in the process! I had it pretty damn loud last night and didn't have any issue with feedback. It sounds like you pretty much had yours wide open!

Vertical Slant Recto 2x12 all the way! The horizontal is nice too with more perceived bass response since there is more surface area of the cab coupled with the ground. You lose the clarity of the slant cab aimed at your head though. The horizontal just beams at your knees.
