Mark I, II, III 15" Combos?

Totally. My Imbuya Mark III is in the living room for the same reason - my wife thinks it's pretty.

I'm not ignoring this - still trying to articulate an answer. If you can afford to have three amps for awhile I would suggest it. They aren't all the same, there's a lot of common ground, and they are all awesome. You may need to decide for yourself.

Mark III presence setting comparo vid

Verrrrry interesting. I was playing around with my JP-2C a few weeks ago and came up with a very similar, very tight configuration: I had the guitar tone set to zero, the amp in shred mode, with a boost in front of it. Turning the guitar tone down was the last step, and it got *really* tight...

Out of curiosity, does it SOUND too high to you? (or anyone else)

[audio] Mark III Purple Stripe, no eq

If I was using an eq I'd have the presence down around 2.

[audio] Mark III Purple Stripe, no eq

I borrowed a purple stripe Mark III S (60 watts, no eq, no reverb) from a buddy, took it home, and dialed it in. This thing sounds yuuuuge: http://dlpas.co/kce0.mp3

Was hoping for this forum to grow more....

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this - but the TC-50 sounds great to me with the loop in use or disabled. No different from the experience using the JP-2C, Mark V:25, or Rectoverb 25. It just sounds excellent. Unlike my first JP-2C, the fx loop also sounds great switching between the...

Rectoverb 25 Combo vs Roadster Combo

I've seen too many youtube videos of older guitarists selling fantastic Mesas because they've just gotten too heavy for them. I'm 48, so I decided to try and do something about it. I work out with a 75 lb kettle bell three days a week for exactly that reason. My Mark V combo weighs 65 lbs, and...

    Cab clone vs Mic

WUPS - I'm using droplr for this and forgot to set the expiration time to "never". I've updated the link above, but here it is as well: http://dlpas.co/ke2a.mp3. Sorry about that.

Playing a Mark III without using the EQ

That's neat. What I like about running it without the eq is that, while I don't think I have it perfected yet, it has a wild, huge character to the lead tone that sounds amazing. Solo notes are gigantic, clear, and chewy.

    NEW MESA TC-50 VIDEO

I took my TC-50 and my recto 2x12 to a rehearsal today. Other guitarist had a Marshall half stack. All three channels sounded great, both guitars sat in the mix with bas,s vocals and drums very well. The TC-50 sounded fantastic. It was a 90s set, so we played: Rearviewmirror (clean and blue...
