yes..that's what i was thinking also. Thing is i can't TRY the damn amp before buying since it's quite a distance from here. and some of the boogies i've tried over the years were always on the muddy side for gain stuff. some people like that, but not my thing..so still trying to find some good...

OK..here it is. when i play on my MKIII 60w bluestrip, after a while, not long, usually between 15 to 20 minutes, I suddenly have a sound level drop. I know the powertubes are fine. I had it check not to long ago. One thing weird. is if i take a jack and run it trough the effect loops a few time...
