    Questions about delay pedals

What he described is not odd, it's exactly what has to be done for most pedals to work in Mesas old ****** parallel fx loops. There's a reason they dropped them in the new reborn rectos and switched over to serial loops. Parallel loops suck. Thankfully TC is kind enough to offer a killdry...

What was your first tube amp?

    Laney AOR

How does your Mark V sound during live performances?

Yes. And I'm saying that as a proud Mesa owner.

    Extreme mode problem?

Extreme should be a little louder and more bassy and not as tight at Mark IV mode. I never use it.

How to get a fatter lead tone on my Rectifier?

TS9 and delay. It's still never going to give you a liquid lead tone of a Mark.

    Anybody Roll Without OD Pedals?

No OD needed with my Mark V but I find a Tubescreamer ESSENTIAL for my Triple Tec else it just sounds dull and muffled. Rectifier really benefits from an OD IMO.

G System or Axe FX II with the V?

Can someone explain how I would get my g major 2 to switch all 3 channels on my Mark V? What cables go from the Major to the V (other than loop send/return obviously)? Are these standard cables found at guitar center or special order type stuff? Can the g Major turn the EQ on and off?

G System or Axe FX II with the V?

Does Mesa recommend using the channel switching relays on a G-System/Major to switch channels on the Mark V?

    Mark V and GCX

Did you have to buy the extra $70 cable to make it work? Is there any lag when changing channels?

Throttle Box, or should I get an amp???

Have you tried the Bigner red pedal? It's the only distortion pedal that really took me by surprise. It actually feels like a real amp.

How does your Mark V sound during live performances?

Sounds great. What's your settings and other effects/boosts? ...I only see a JVM btw, lol

    Mark V and GCX

That diagram shows the GCX turning the loop on and off. The Mark V doesn't have external loop switching does it?

How does your Mark V sound during live performances?

A Marshall is always going to cut better than a Mesa.

How does your Mark V sound during live performances?

I love my Mark V for bedroom playing but if I were playing with a drummer again I'd go back to a JCM 800. The Mark sounds beautiful in recordings or alone but I just doesn't see it cutting like an 800. Of course I haven't played in a band setting since I got it so take it for what it's worth. My...

Want to get a Diamond face plate for a Road King

I ordered it less than a year ago. I have the invoice somewhere around here. How much are they now?

Want to get a Diamond face plate for a Road King

That doesn't sound right. I ordered a whole new head shell include the diamond plate for my triple rec for $299.

    Interested in a Mark V...

Yep, V30's and I play all channels equally. Just compared to my JCM 800 and Triple Rectifier, the Mark V sounds fantastic at TV volumes whereas the other two go from Zero to someone's going to call the cops just by looking at the volume knob and wishing to turn it.

    Interested in a Mark V...

The Mark V is the BEST low volume tube amp I've ever played. And I'm playing through a full stack.

Lead boost on Mark IV - am I missing something?

Too much gain or is the pedal just adding unwanted noise?

    Mark V Modifications

Just a guess here but I imagine the complexity of the amp is outside the scope/comfortability of most modders. If you're going to soup up an engine you'd pick a Mustang, not a 300ZX.
