Hell yes the recto verb does metal, I own the 112 combo and used to own a 2 channel dual, the secret is a maxon od 808. People that say the dual is heavier sounding are full of it, I actually like the single recto better because u can push the tubes to saturation easier. Get a used 212 ext cab...
