playing my triple recto rev f for many years now...yesterday a had a rehearsal with my aggressive metalband vintage high gain orange channel boosted with a maxon st pro plus.....perfect sound what do guys think?

go for a 4x12. I might think you ll regret it if you don t a mesa recto or traditional for that mesa sound

yeah alright it got EH 6L6s in it and the spongy and vacuum tube rectifier were engaged

ok yeah Ive got a tungsol i v1 in my Roadster head. sounds good but not that much. a little clearer maybe JJs are not for and have never been. It s a matter of taste/hearing taste I suppose i would like to try the cheapest one of them all sovtek 6L6wxt.......i don t have a clue how they sound

i prefer the v30 mesa cabs...im currently use the traditional/stiletto 4x12 with my Roadster and soon with my Triple blackfaced 2 channel

yepp 4 channels all sound the same. and the SOUND very good.
