    Noise In My Rig

Thanks a lot, I'll get that stuff a shot. The TC Delay actually has it's own "wall wart" adapter, it can't be powered with the 1 spot.. So you really think my problem could lie in the power source??

    Noise In My Rig

Yeah my bad, the A/B box is the last thing in the chain.. I'm about at my wits end.. I've seen people run huge pedalboards and not have any noise issues. I've tried eliminating things and actually just put my volume, wah, plextortion, line 6 mm4, boss delay, and TC delay and my A/B box on my skb...

    Noise In My Rig

I have a nasty noise that's just bad enough to be unbareable.. I have a Boogie Triple Rec, and a Fender Twin for cleans. It's not the fact that I run 2 amps because I have isolated buffered/splitters to take care of that problem.. I have a snake that has a cable coming from the Twin, the Boogie...

    Triple Rec to 50 watts?????

I know a lot of guys that have dual recs pull out 2 tubes to make it a 50 watt head. I took 2 tubes out of my triple to make it a 100 watt head. My question is... Can I pull 2 more out? Only leaving me with 2 tubes to make it a 50??? Thanks

    Studio tone and amp micing

Hey jaroldj thanks for the compliment. My Triple Rec is the 2 channel. What you heard was the red channel, silicone diodes, bold. Settings varied a little on the studio eq but here is how I normally run it. Master: 11 o'clock Presence: 10 o'clock Bass: 1 or 2 o'clock Mid: 10 o'clock Treble...

    Studio tone and amp micing

I'm heading into the studio in a couple weeks and I was wanting any input on amp micing, or anything else to get a great studio tone. Here's a link to some stuff we have recorded, it's just music we don't have a singer yet. Let me know what you think of those tones, and any way to improve it...

    Triple Rec helppage

I'm kind of at the same place you are at right now... But for lead I start out my all of my EQ at 12 o'clock and then fine tune from there. A guy at Boogie also told me that for leads he prefers it to be on spongy, but granted you can't be switching the bold/spongy switch back and forth every...

    Triple Rec Saturation...

Oh yeah and to answer a question that was asked I do plug it into a power conditioner.

    Triple Rec Saturation...

Yea i actually do run Bold, and Diodes. As far as the tone I'm after, I would like to have Tremontis rhythms, Petruccis leads. I know that's hard to accomplish with one amp. The thing that really bugs me is that I've stood in front of Tremontis rig about 5 or 6 times and we've had talks about it...

    Triple Rec Saturation...

I'm curious to know if anyone has had something like this happen... After your amp is on for awhile has it ever felt or sounded like it lost some guts or a little gain??
  16. S

    Triple Rec Saturation...

Yea I do run the loop because I run a delay through it, and they sound like crap through the front of the amp on dirty stuff. And I talked to the Boogie factory and the Hollywood store, they told me it would be fine to pull 2 tubes, they said it's not a perfect mismatch but it would be ok.

    Triple Rec Saturation...

    Yea my settings are pretty close to his. Master-10 o'clock Presence-9 or 10 o'clock Bass-2 o'clock Mid-10 o'clock Treble-1 or 2 o'clock Gain-2 or 3 o'clock.

    Triple Rec Saturation...

Yea I'm one that wants the amp to sound like that without using an external device, but if it can't be done... Oh well. I don't understand it, it's been bugging me for awhile, it doesn't sound bad, just not quite saturating. I'm going for a Tremonti/Petrucci tone..

    Triple Rec Saturation...

Having a hard time getting my 2 channel triple rec to really saturate like I want it to. I'm starting to wonder if I should have got a dual instead... I feel like it's lacking the smooth, compressed, growel that everyone else's has. I've been in front of Mark Tremonti's rig and that's what I...

2 Channel Triple Rec FX Loop

Hey guys, I have a 2 channel triple rec and when running the fx loop I don't like the tone of the amp as well, I just feel like i'm loosing some guts of the amp. But my delay and reverb pedal sounds like crap through the front of the amp so obviously time based fx sound better in loops so I have...
