what should i ask if i do find one and call them.

alright i guess it looks like i will be looking for a dc-10. how would one go about trying this amp out. i live in a small town and there are no music shops around me and i would pry have to pay alot to get a brand new one from a shop if i had them ship it in...

well what is the distortion like. Mark iv'sh at all?? like could i get a chevelle tone out of it? plus some bright cleans as well

i have checked out the .50 cal and i liked the tone but not the clean cuz it was so gainy

hmm well its the tight low end dark tone of the mark iv that i really like.

hmmm is the dc - 5 just a dc - 10 with less wattage?

thanks for the help. lol idk weather to save up or not now lol. i would like the amp sooner then later because my curent amp is not working for my band and giging situation. but i listen to lots of chevelle and i love the tones they can get. can the dc-10 get that sort of a tone at all.

i could. i have seen a few for 700 and up and they look in pretty good condition. and i was thinking that i might just get like a vader cabnet cuz its not as expensive as a mesa one. or is that not a good choice?

uhm the mark iv just has the really tight sound. like the distortion isnt all over the place. and the cleans are amazing too. but i was looking into more of a stack.

im looking into buying a mesa amp but i dont have the kind of money for the mark iv which i have always wanted. so in the 600 dollar range what mesa amps could i get that sound similar to the mark iv
