    Stiletto Ace with a 2x12 or a 4x12

Hey Folks, I have both a vertical recto 2x12 and a stiletto 4x12 that I run the stiletto through at different times. On some days, I want to get another 2x12 and sell the 4x12 because I prefer THAT sound and on others, I love the 4x12 and wouldn't dream of running a 2x12. Anyone out there...

    Death magnetic and Mark amps????

I think you missed my point. That is like saying the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a wonderful movie. Metal isn't supposed to have beautiful tone. It is supposed to be raw and harsh. All given, there can be BAD metal tone, but this album is not an example of that.

    Death magnetic and Mark amps????

They just cannot get it right no matter what they do, huh? I am certainly not a Metallica fanboy, but everyone in the world cried when they pierced their tongues and started trying to be blues metal fusion. They finally release an album that doesn't make me run to the shitter with my hands...

FS: 2001 Dual Rectifier Tremoverb Head SOLD SOLD SOLD

Thanks man. I don't know how much it was new in 2001. I have been watching used Tremoverbs on the Bay for some time and they typically sell between 1k and 1400 + shipping pending the condition. This one obviously being on the nicer end. FWIW, it is not just a Dual Recto, it is a Tremoverb -...

FS: 2001 Dual Rectifier Tremoverb Head SOLD SOLD SOLD

SOLD - Thanks all. Hey All, Up for sale is the mighty Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Tremoverb Head. This head is extremely rare and hard to find. History: You simply cannot find a Tremoverb (TOV) head in better condition. Mesa Boogie stopped making them in late summer of 2001. I have verified...

    Stiletto Ace Appreciation Thread

Couldn't say enough about this amp. It is THE sound that I have been chasing in my head. I love absolutely everything about this amp. If they could improve on anything, it would be a more robust foot switch. I think the stereo jack cable thing is a bit weak. Love this amp though.

    DC-5 Vs. DC-10 Vs. Mark III (60W)

DC-10 Hands down will have a more modern sound. Some say the DC has a recto father and a Mark IV mother. Having owned both, (well, I own a DC-5 and my buddy that I jam with has a DC-10), I can say the DC is the one you're looking for. Also, it is pretty versatile. What country are you from...

Which of these amps is the furthest apart?

Again, IF I could squash the TOV and the ACE together, I think I would die happy. :)
  16. J

Which of these amps is the furthest apart?

Anyone else out there with some infinite wisdom?
  17. J

Which of these amps is the furthest apart?

This is also a really good point. They are all different amps indeed but as someone pointed out already, I think the DC and the TOV are the closest with the Stiletto being out on its own.
  18. J

Which of these amps is the furthest apart?

Yea, this decision surely wasn't hard already. Thanks. :P
  19. J

Which of these amps is the furthest apart?

Oh crap! I never thought of that point. That is a very good point. I think the TOV might be harder but I might be wrong. I really have no idea.
  20. J

Which of these amps is the furthest apart?

Right on. I see it as either: Stiletto - TOV or Stiletto - DC I just cannot figure out which is the furthest spread. My mind changes a little every time I play the DC or TOV. Suppose that is why I brought it to the public opinion.
