I have a 2 channel as well. I use JJ KT77's and the ECC83s and I can get a really good sparkling clean out of the clean channel. I turn up the prescence quite a bit, and take the bass down. I don't know my exact settings, sorry.

I used a very similar set up in the studio for this song. We used a JCM 900 50 watt hi gain dual reverb and a 2 channel dual rec. both through old *** marshall cabs. They were so haggard that I couldn't tell what model or anything they were. You can listen to it here...

Yeah, DON'T use the Line 6 cab. I have a Flextone 412 and HATE it. I'm just trying not to put any more money on my Guitar Center card because I just paid it off. When I get the money, I'm going with a Mesa traditional or a Genz Benz. I've heard great things about them.
