    Smaller footswitch?

There are four 1/4 inch jacks you can use on the back of of the amp to control all of those features, so I'm sure you could find a set of latch type pedals and wire it up that way to potentially save space - may also wan to check out the mini amp gizmo but it is midi controlled which may not...

Volume/Reverb Jump When Switching to Tweed on Mark V

Hey Shogun, what's with the useless response "Terrible Question" - tell me, where in the manual does it mention this? I've read it several times and reread it before I posted the question here. The only mention of this type of thing is on the Extreme Mode of Channel 3: "Finally EXTREME (switch...

Volume/Reverb Jump When Switching to Tweed on Mark V

Anyone else notice a huge volume jump when switching to the Tweed mode from Fat or Clean? I also find the reverb falls way off and needs to be readjusted. There is such a drastic change on both volume and reverb you need to reconfigure all settings. I know these modes aren't available to...

****. Mark V out for repair already

Just to clarify, the noise I mentioned on my previous post was present only present when the amp was fully or near fully cranked - output all the way up. I'd be surprised if you could find an amp that didn't produce some background noise when it was fully cranked, especially a tube amp.

****. Mark V out for repair already

Read your post last night... checked out your sound clip as well. Out of curiosity I checked mine based on the same settings and I get the same "noise". I agree with you you, it is strange that it is more present in channel one versus two or three given channel one is suppose to be the most...

    Pop when switching channels

I have a LSS and this happens when switching between channels when the power setting is set different - mainly between 30W and 5W mode. I think it has something to do with the different rectifier setups. On the LSS the 30W uses a ss rectifier and a tube rectifier on the 5W and 10W. I think I...

    Lone Star Special Problem

Hi All, I've had a Mesa LSS for about 6 months now and it has been great but it failed on me this past weekend and I'm wondering if this is anything to be concerned with (overly concerned anyway). I've read through all the posts on the problem with the rectifier tube but I don't think that is...
