Yes. I just did extensive research throughout past posts on this board and found the following: http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16839&hilit=+Roadster+Lag+volume+swell http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=27117&hilit=+Roadster+Lag+volume+swell...

IBANEZ4LIFE: I too have a Roadster that didn't have the lag problem until now. That is why I am shocked. I am not a weekend warrior per se. I have played my amp at some of the biggest venues in New England. She has never had this issue in the past, which is why I am concerned. TREMOVERB94...

Thanks for trying to help, but I know what the Roadster lag sounds like. It is really only apparant when the reverb is on and you change channels. It doesn't cut the whole signal out and fades the volume to nothing for 2 seconds. There is just a delay going to the next channel, but the volume...

I awoke this morning, plugged in, and was greeted to strange channel switching volume fadeouts. Anyone know why? Also, when I engage the reverb, everything is fine. Thanks. I am baffled. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIbmK2WbeSY

Anyone have a custom Mesa w/ Orange Tolex?

I am curious as to what the tolex looks like up close. Could some of you post pics, if applicable. That would be extremely helpful. I am going to order a new Roadster head shell soon but I'm not familiar with the tolex. Thanks.

Sending amp back to Mesa: What is the process?

Hey: I am going to send my amp back to Mesa for a closer examination of some perceived issues I am having with it. My question to all of you is, come Monday, what will be the process I follow? I know I'll need to call them (which I already have done a couple of days ago concerning my problem...

Is there any point in using the solo boost knob on the Recto

I wouldn't really say it is a boost per say. It is definitely a volume boost. I find that it works great as a volume boost with my Fulltone OCD and channel 3 of my Roadster -- great lead tones and plenty of sustain. The SOLO button really helps kick the volume up when necessary. I used to...

2009 Roadster Head for sale, immaculate condition 1600 firm

I am selling my Roadster head because quite frankly, I have no need for it. Much too much amp for my uses, and way too heavy for my liking. I bought this amp used from Guitar Center in February 2009. Included with it will be the footswitch, cover, receipt, transfer of warranty, etc. Email...

Guitar Center sales help on Roadster....

Yeah, I forgot to mentioned that I did change three preamp tubes (V1, 2 and 3), and played the swap-one-tube-at-a-time game as well (very time consuming and annoying), and couldn't find a problem tube. I also noticed the problem was still apparent at my drummers house. It looks like it is...

Guitar Center sales help on Roadster....

Hello. Lately my Mesa Roadster has fallen victim to unusual humming/buzzing whenever I turn the amp up to even bedroom levels. I went to GC to try out a Roadster that they had with all of the same settings. Just as I suspected, the Roadster there was pretty darn silent, even on high gain...

IPS Decimator advice: G String pedal or ProRackG?

Rad, thanks for the tip WALLCRAWLER! I think I am definitely going to go with the ISP Decimator pedal. I can't imagine needing the ProRackG, especially if I want to eventually invest in the GCX Switching System -- those systems run all of your pedals in a gate themselves, and are true bypass...

IPS Decimator advice: G String pedal or ProRackG?

Yeah, I have amp noise, mainly when playing channels 3 and 4 of my Roadster. Not very apparent when I'm playing at home, but live and at practice it is wicked noticeable. I played the Middle East club last Friday, and as an added bonus, they give each band a live cd of their set. I could...

IPS Decimator advice: G String pedal or ProRackG?

The only difference I can see between the two are that the ProRackG has 2 channels that can filter out unwanted sound. On ISP's website, they say that channel 1 can filter out any noise from your instrument, while channel 2 can filter out hiss from after your preamp (series effects loop). I am...

Tightening the loose bottom end of a 3 channell recto 101.

I know Mesa says that they are hand-made amps, and as far as the chassis goes, that is true, but I believe there is nothing hand made about the amp electronics themselves, aside from some knobs, tube holders, etc. I believe they are all PCB and not hand wired ... Admittedly though, I could...

Tightening the loose bottom end of a 3 channell recto 101.

Great posts everyone. This really is a touchy subject, and unfortunately, sometimes written words can have a tone that can be interpreted in many different ways. None of my posts are written to be negative at all. I really feel that people should do whatever it is to make them happy -- in...
