I see. I've been using the 4-cable method with the amps mix on 100%. I will have to try it with the mix down seeing as I only use the loop for verb and delay. This could increase my tone quality by 100%! Thanks man.

I have send at about 12 o'clock and return at 100% and I can't for the life of me get a good sounding delay with the loop. Pre and post preamp definitely sound different though.

I only use the FX loop for Verb and maybe Phase. EQ is good in the FX loop as well. Delay sounds horrible in the parallel loop.
