    Metal grill half back 4x12

So that was a typo lol, I have 4x12 not a 2x12. Freaking heavy! Sounds delicious tho. Really enjoy the half open back.

Speakers for a Vintage 2x12 Slant Metal Grill Halfback

I just picked up a 4*12 with the c90s and the vs12s, haven't had a chance to play her much yet. Once you've had a run at her, let me know what you think of the vs12s.

    Metal grill half back 4x12

Just picked up a half back metal grill 2x12 (in trade for a Marshall 1936 I paid $300 for). Wondering if anyone out there has experience with these cabs, or specifically thoughts on the vs12 eminence speakers in the bottom of it? Initial reaction is that it sounds great, but I've only played it...

2:90 half drive noise problem, and version question

I've seen a lot of talk about blue light and red light 2:90s. Mine has a green light. Any thoughts on this? Whenever I'm using half drive there is a low frequency bus on the volume knob (both channels, exactly the same) all the way to one o'clock, where is disappears, and is replaced with a hi...

Cheapest way to switch two Mesa's using one foot switch?

Not sure if it would work, but have you tried using a regular latching type foot switch and splitting it with a y xable? I feel like that would work (although depending on how many channels you're running this could end up being quite the front of house snake)

    TRiaxis FX loop woes.

I could be wrong, but isn't the effects send level independent of the master output? Allowing you to change the output of your triaxis without rejiggering your effects every time you do it (which would be a monstrous pain in the ***, and really defeat the purpose of the loop)

    2:90 retubing questions/thoughts

Thanks for the reply :) Excellent news on being able to replace just one side of the amp. It's nice to have tubes in there to use as a backup, but I don't need it to sound spectacular, as I"ve never used in the 18 months I've had it (short of hooking it up every once in a while just to see if...

    2:90 retubing questions/thoughts

I bought a new to me 2:90 about a year and a half ago, retubed it when I got it, and I think it's time to be done again. I find that after she's been on for around half an hour, I start having to gradually increase volume, and that I'm losing crispness in tone. So, looking into doing this, I...

which od/distortio pedal do you run in front of your Boogie?

Nothing. I have a stack of dirt pedals sitting in the basement now, and you can't really beat the tones you get out of the triaxis. Always been a fan of amp distortion, and as long as you've got access to at least four channels, never had a need for more. Having said that, the ts-9 is a...

2:90 power amp modern mode not functioning HELP

I have a 2:90 that I run with a triaxis. The deep and half drive modes both work as advertised, but the modern function adds little to no volume boost (no where near the half drive matching level the manual states) and little tone change. Wondering if anyone else has had/solved this problem, or...
