    18 volts? Should I?

I have installed 18 volt serial mod in my ESP Viper It I find it's a bit more open and a tad brighter and a bit more crisp but to me the biggest difference is the fact that it sounds alot better for lower gain stuff.

    SM57 Love Hate Theory

I am using Emg 81 and Emg 60 in my Viper 400 I have also heard a PRS recording in another post. Very True they are not muddy bit still a bit too middy for my ears. To me middy is just as bad as muddy unless you are doubling guitar or playing lead. I love that scooped rhythm sound I just...

    Solo 50 Single Rectifier sound?

I just had a listen on amazon.com He has a very nice tone. If you can afford if I would look into a Dual Rectifier It will get you closer to his tone then a Single would. As for overdrive unless you a using single coils you can get as much overdrive as he has if not more.

Hi I am thinking of selling my 3 Channel Dual Rectifier The biggest reason is I have to crank too loud for it to sound good. I have pulled 2 tubes to run in 50 watts which fixed the problem but my clean tone suffered. My Family thinks I'm nuts, I don't blame them I have lost count of how...
