I don't know for sure about time periods but I was told that soundgarden took Trem-O-Verbs on tour with them... Maybe they used them for recording but I know they at least used them live. Bottom line, their best albums were made with MESA.

Sorry I just want to clarify this again b4 I do anything.. I am pretty much safe opening the TOV because its a relatively modern amp. Regardless, to drain the pots... I hit the standby switch and play for a few minutes (with the amp unplugged of course), theres no need to hit the power...

Thats a good question... my TOV is R-017176. I'm wondering if I'm having trouble sliding the chassis out because of a modification made on this model.
