The Suhr Riot is excellent with the ElectraDyne. It can push the Dyne that last notch that the HI gain channel dosent reach. The bottom end of the Riot is also big and tight like the Dyne.

Thats an interesting question because I have both. IMO the sounds I like from the Dyne are very similar to the sounds of the BB Plus. Its almost like the difference between the two channels of the BB Plus itself. I bought the BB to push the ED to get a little more gain which it does perfectly...

The clean channel on both are excellent but beyond that the ElectraDyne blows the Lonestar away. Unlike most of the other Mesa amps that require tweaking to the nth degree to get that sound the Electra is almost impossible to get a bad sound out of. Don't let the simplicity of it fool you into...

I agree completely. It has its own character and it just sounds good ! I have recently played about every current Mesa except the Mark V and I think from clean to medium high gain it blows the other away.
