    LSC 4x10 ?

It will be way too heavy!!!!! My 2 12 is too heavy for me...........but I put up with it because of the tone. I too love the Super Reverb sound too. Why not try a Dr Z EZG 50? I have considered this for some time. They sound awesome. You can go the head and 4x10 cab route. Paul

Lonestar Classic 212 - rumble noise when playing an E.

Cheers for the input guys. There is no way I can get anything under warranty as I am in the UK and the amp is a couple of years old. We only get 12 months here. I think I am in need of a full retube anyway, plus this will give me some spares incase of future failure. I am currently having a...

Lonestar Classic 212 - rumble noise when playing an E.

So, last night I tried disconnecting one speaker to see if the rumble noise went away. The noise was still there. So I soldered that speaker back in and disconnected the other. Still the same problem. After I had reconnected the speakers I thought I'd have a look at the speaker mounting nuts...

Lonestar Classic 212 - rumble noise when playing an E.

Cheers Plan, I'll give it a try tonight. Hopefully one of the speaker is blown. I'll be able to try another type then..........Maybe the California that BobL gave rave reviews. Paul

Lonestar Classic 212 - rumble noise when playing an E.

Tried tightening up everything (in fact just done the Reeder Mod pot swap, so I have had the amp chassis out and refitted it). Tried it in a different room, different power supply. Just come back from rehearsal where I noticed that at volume on the clean channel there is a bit of nasty grit...

    Converting a LSC 212 to a 112.

Has anyone tried, or thought about trying, to convert their 2 x 12 LS to a 1 x 12. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, I would like to shed a few pounds (both me and the amp :D ). Secondly, I have heard that there is an element of phase cancellation on the 212 and I am interested in...

Lonestar Classic 212 - rumble noise when playing an E.

I have a Lonestar Classic 212 V2. I am very happy with the tone, allthough the amp is way too heavy. I have just noticed a low rumble coming from the speaker. This happens on both channels, all power settings, both rectifier settings, reverb on or off, loop in or out. I can only hear this when...

Additional amp to compliment a Lonestar Classic 212

I am currently running a Lonestar Classic 212 combo. I absolutley love this amp. My main problem is that it is too big/heavy/loud for home use. I am sick of damaging both my back and my walls when taking it upstairs to the spare room / music room after gigs and rehearsals. I think the...

    question about the drive channel

I have a Lonestar Classic v2 2x12 combo and I am in exactly the same boat!! I have found MY TONE on CH 1. Low gain (11.00), low mids (virtually off), but breaks up nicley when pushes from the front with either the mid boost on my guitar (Clapton Strat) or my Xotic RC Booster (set as a treble...

Anyone using an eq pedal with lonestar classic?

Hi, I am not using an eq pedal, but i have got an Xotic RC boost pedal. I use the active treble and bass, in conjunction with the mid boost pre amp on my guitar, and I can shape the sound how I want. It is ultra transparent and also gives me the function of the boost which really pushes the...
