Sad Day - V returned to Mesa for repair
5 weeks old, :cry: But in case anyone else experiences the same or similar.... Even tech suppt can't figure it out. During Fri night gig it acted like it was shorting out briefly, then no sound. Had to replace a bad Rect tube on Sat and got sound back. 1st Song, 1st set, 1st note of the lead... -

Yeh it's the Furnman AR 15 II conditioner/voltage regulator. Definitely gonna call the dealer again tomorrow, prob will have to deal with Mesa though... gonna be big time phuqued if I have to send it for repair... no backup Mark 5!!! Can't say I'm happy! -

It's a place with not the best electricity but I played there last month with the amp w/o problems. I always have the amp on a voltage regulator too. -

I have the popping too. ANd the 5 is sounding much better the more I play it... until... Fri night, middle of 2nd set it's like the sound was crackely and shorting out then NO SOUND. Checked tubes Sat and the Rectifier Tube was BAD. Replaced it, played with it for 1/2 hour or so... sounded... -

FX Loop Send Level
Mine is at 12:00. Just seems to get louder above that but not much change in tone... I'll xperiment more too. -

Effects in the FX Loop
I've been using the AxeFx Ultra for the past 2 years and just got the M5 this week. I'll use the Ultra with the M5. I've bypassed the amps and cabs and will use the effects only. The AFX has the capability to route comp, drives etc to the Input of the M5 and time based FX's to the M5 Effects... -

So...Has Anyone Had Head Updates This Week?
I just found/bought an in-stock Combo today :shock: at Main Street Music in NM 1-800-934-5210... they confirmed they had an available head that was enroute to them as of yesterday and one being shipped tomorrow so both should be there Fri or Monday. Ask for Jeremy... he's good folk! -

2x12 Vertical Cab for Mark V Combo
1st post..... I played a Mark 5 combo last week sitting in top of the Roadster 1x12 cab with a V30 in it. The cab is a few inches wider than the combo but it is light weight and the C90/V30 combo was very nice... much better than the Combo by itself imho. Been kicking myself in the a$$ for not...
