    Adjustable-Bias-Kit in Stiletto GREAT SOUND!

I really hope this works out for me. I was about to swap for a Lone Star head, but turned it down when reading about this just in the nick if time. What I really don't understand is why Mesa themselves haven't sussed this out and offered the Stiletto with some kind of hotter running valve...

    Adjustable-Bias-Kit in Stiletto GREAT SOUND!

I have ordered a kit from Mansfields. It will take a while to get here since their international shipping quote was outrageous. So I have had to have it shipped to my brother in Florida so he can forward it to me in the UK. I will post something when I get it installed.

    Lonestar bias mod

I have been somewhat (alright -- Completely) dissatisfied with the sound of my Stilleto Deuce since buying it over a year ago. I have owned it along side my Marshall, Roadster and Soldano amps. I recently had a sell off to reduce my inventory of music gear, and was again dissapointed because the...

    Mark V + POD X3 Live

So if you guys are using 4 cable methods, how long are your cables in the loop to get the Pod 3 or GT10 connected? I used to do this with a G System, but they allow you to use ballanced cables for long runs. Most reccomendations for processors in the loop restrict you to 3 feet.

Dual Rec vs Roadster. Whats the real difference.

I recently had an unhappy time selling off some of my gear just to reduce the amount of money invested in it all. I have owned my Stiletto for 18 months and it was the one I wanted to sell, but no buyers. So I let my Roadster and My Soldano amps go. I am of course now regretting that decision as...

Stiletto Deuce. Why does effects loop Volume affect overall?

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure I agree with switching the loop out as I will lose the valuable solo and master functions. But I will give it a try at the next rehearsal.

Stiletto Deuce. Why does effects loop Volume affect overall?

So if you do not run through the effects loop, do you guys leave the loop volume at full, half, what? Does anyone know what part of the amp this volume is controlling, pre amp, power amp or something else?

Stiletto Deuce. Why does effects loop Volume affect overall?

Hi, New member here. I just bought a Stiletto Deuce head and I guess I am going through the 'Oops, have I done the right thing' phase. I confess that I am struggling with the perceived brightness/harshness thing that I have read so much about, but I also agree that it cuts through the mix in a...
