Saw a couple of people on Craigslist looking for trades Deuece for Ace. Doubt you'll be able to get a head and cab for a straight up trade. Kinda steep.

Output at noon and master at noon on a clean channel is really tame. To get to a live playing sound I gotta put the master maxed. Barely can hear over a drummer if any lower. His clean channel was insane on that video.

I used a Stiletto Deuce and a Dual recto for my bands recordings. Not heavy in the sense of 'metal' but overall I was pleased. Could have been mixed differently though. Liked the songs ya put up.

But on the real emo and hardcore sound the same? Emo = Rites of Spring and Fugazi Hardcore = American Nightmare, Carry On. Some people slay me on this board. Not big on Parkway Drive but when I saw them with This is Hell and Comeback Kid in 07 they were using Framus and 5150's. Nice dudes...

Thanks for the heads up. These speakers are way less than the Celestion v30 so I'll probably just stick with the wgs. If I dont like them I can always put new speakers when money allows it. Thanks for your input.

I'm purchasing a Emperor cab with their stock speaker in it. "our stock speaker is a v30 clone made for us by the good people at wgs. Tonally it is a v30 meets a g1275." I don't have any experience with the g 1275 speakers. Any complaints? compliments? Any thing will do.

The EMG bashing is cute. I dont use them, but my buddies in bands who do can crank out anything with them. My friend who is all about solo-ing has his triple rec set up as so. bass = 7ish mids = 10 highs = 4ish Presence = 4ish gain = 4ish And he uses Emg and his tone is really metal. Weird...

They hold up great. No complaints or problems.
