good point! I'm going to bring that up when i pick the cab up on Monday. If this does work out the next thing will be to find another cab to go along with the 1x12 to give me a 4x12 type sound. most likely a 2x12 recto.

ya the light was still on. i'm going to swap pre tubes one at a time with a new one, or just get all new ones if it comes to that.

I know I seen it on here but can't find it now. I seen a picture or drawing of a 2 channel dual rectifiers preamp tubes labeled to what each one does. Anyone know where i can find that again? It will make trouble shooting a little easier

the power tubes are 5 months old and the pre amp tubes are two or three years old. If it is the preamp tubes ,I don't have to buy mesa like I do with the powertubes do I?

I have a 2 channel dual rectifier and just after sound check last night my modern(red) channel died. Its not totally dead cuts in and out, but mostly out. So i turned orange to red and used just that channel all night. So I'm just hoping someone might know what this is or point me in the right...

I was told at the Mesa dealer where I go that I have to use Mesa power tubes in my dual rectifier or I will hurt the amp. Is this true? I`m happy with my sound just not the price of Mesa tubes. $45 a pair 6L6 GCSTR430
