I think it would be interesting to hear what everyone thinks are the best/worst mesa dealers. Might help some folks find a great place or avoid a bad one.

Call Mesa they will help you. Usually it's a tube problem,on mine when the rectifier tube blew it took part of the tube socket with it.Went through a lot of fuses! They helped me troubleshoot over the phone. Still had to take it in but they were a huge help with my amp which is still running...

Mine sucked real bad too.There was no level control. I had a 4 space rack full of stuff I used back then. You can use the TC,getting the level right is gonna be tough to do.

Get a smaller amp. Either the attenuator or mismatched impedence will eventually blow the output transformer. Not to mention bad tone.

Check all the tubes ! When I talked to Mesa about mine they mentioned 95% of the time it's a bad tube. Read the manual,it will tell you how to figure this out.

A couple of thoughts: Make sure you have the bias switch set for 6v6/6L6. The amp should be in tweed mode. If you are using the fx loop the channel(master) volume controls the send level to the fx ,maxed out this will send too much level to your fx processor. Make sure the tubes are good. I try...
