    single rect. with spkr from F-30!??

    Hi there! In the next couple of weeks my band and I are going to record our second demo. the guitars are going to be recorded in a small house a few hundred kilometers from my home. When we are practicing i'm using my mesa single rectifier, and i like the tone very much. However, I have bought a...

    F-30 Tone

    Don't know about the attenuator, haven't tried. Got a F-30 combo too. I'm also playing at very low volume, since i'm living in an appartment. when turned almost all the way down the tone controls almost has no effect. and then i think the tone can be a little "hiss", or "sharp" or what it can be...

    Slave out->fx->par.loop return= SERIAL LOOP!??

    Hey! I was just thinking, that if you took the dry signlal out from the slave out of (i.e. my single recto) an amp, go through the like flanger phaser, etc., would this function as a serial loop, or am i just forgetting something!? I am not near my amp, therefor im asking! Thought it would be a...

    parallel->serial loop, how to rewire!?

    Allright Noglassnoclass! So IF you were about to get a chorus or a phaser, where would YOU put it!? or for that matter a tremolo!? Great response you give! great!

    parallel->serial loop, how to rewire!?

    Yearh, you're right, noglassnoglass! But i will probably ran in to some of the same kind of probs, i think. The delay should work ok in a loop, but what about i.e. the chorus? I use my amps distortion, with a Boss od3 in the front to give solos that little extra gain. I was thinking of buying...

    parallel->serial loop, how to rewire!?

    i've already tried that, but then it seems that i i loose some of the "dynamics/spongy-ness", and thats not very nice-sounding. Don't know what to do else than getting the loop fixed to a serial one, or start using pedals. That's another thing i've been thinking of; buying a high-end pedaltype...

    parallel->serial loop, how to rewire!?

    parallel->serial loop, how to rewire!?

    I have already been writing to them, and i got an answer back, telling me that they would not answer e-mails about technical stuff. And since i'm living in Denmark, it could get REALLY expensive giving them a call! Therefor i'm asking you wise guys :wink:

    parallel->serial loop, how to rewire!?

    Hello! I would like to know if it possible/advisable to rewire the loop of my single recto!? Easy? I am asking because i would like to use tremolo and other fx from my g-major in the loop. right now it is only reverb and delay that sounds good running through the parallel loop. Any help much...

    Switch to el34 on single recto

    mrdylan: I know that it's 6l6 that comes with the amp. I'm asking because I think it could be fun to listen to some el34's, just to hear the difference of the two kinds of powertubes. I just wanted to know if there shouldn't be any fine-tuning of the bias (done by some tech.), or I can go with...

    Switch to el34 on single recto

    Hi. Don''t know which brand i'm putting in it, haven't got a clue of what's best of powertubes! Maybe just some mesa el34.....?? Any ideas? I'm living in Denmark, so there isn't many to choose from. Think the choises are: Elektro harmonix, sovtek, ruby and groovetubes. Any idea of what's...

    RECTOVERB HEAD question?

    Hey 11miles! Yearh, the triaxis is a pretty expensive piece of gear! And a great piece.........but not for what i wanted to do now. And yes, the single recto is a bit cheaper than the rectoverb. Not much, but if you don't need the spring-reverb, why pay for it!? (.....btw....the single recto...

    RECTOVERB HEAD question?

    Hi there! I bought a single rectifier a couple of days ago! The tone of it is SO sweet! I'm in love already! Before I had a Triaxis and a 2:90, sold it because i wanted a more simple setup, but about the same tone. And now i've got even better tone, and a simple setup :D !!! I'm SO happy with my...
