I just swapped out V4 because I was getting some occasional crackling with reverb on. Reverb worked for a while with no issues but this morning it just doesn't work at all in both channels. RCA jack is plugged in, pre-amp tube is securely in place. Knobs are all the way up. Any ideas?

I had a heck of time getting the shield off, but I finally managed to. Putting it back on was much harder. I could get it on with the rubber ring. I ended up taking the rubber ring off then slid the shield on. I then slid the rubber ring back over the lip. No smoke when I turned it back on...

I need to swap the V4 in my LSS, but the metal casing around the tube won't budge. Should I keep trying to pull on it or is there another way to change the preamp tubes on the LSS? Yes, I've seen the YouTube videos, but mine aren't coming out that easy. Thanks

The 30 seems to work okay, but I still need to play with it more. It's really intermitant. The power conditioner is a good idea.

I've looked at the manual, but I'm still not clear on why I would want to do a Hard Bypass? The Output and Solo knobs don't work when in Hard Bypass. Just looking for a practical example of when I wouldn't want to use Output and Solo. Thanks

Thing is I wasn't getting it with my old amp. Maybe the LSS is better about bringing it out.

I have.... LSS 2007 Strat Single Coil I'm hearing a hum (like a ground loop) from my LSS/Strat when my pickup position is at 1, 3 or 5. Positions 2 & 4 are fine. Any idea what that could be from? I realize it could be a million things, but curious if anyone else has seen the same issue.

I got my new black LSS today!!! It's a beautiful looking and sounding amp. I'm loving it so far. Thanks for the help this morning thinking through my options. I'm going to go figure out how to tweak it now. I don't think I can be happier than I am right now.

Thanks Don. I don't think I would really choose any Fender over the LSS. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything in my research. Sounds like I'm in good hands with Mesa. It's great to know that they have great customer service too!

Same here! I can't stand pedals, except the channel switcher, tuner and wah. I'm heading out to pick up my LSS in about an hour. Can't wait. Thanks for helping me think through this.

I'm glad you pointed this out. At this point I only have enough dough to get one great amp or a couple of cheaper ones. Still leaning towards the LSS.
