Great Thanks! Do you use a 13" or 19" gooseneck? Where's your sweet spot for mic placement? I usually go for the NE rim. Do you place the mic perpendicular to the speaker or lay it flat on it? Thanks for your help man.

thanks axeman53 Is that stand stable enough? I'm concerned about it laying against one pole in the back. Does it want to wobble?

I messed around with it all weekend and your suggestions are working! I actually like the tone coming out of it now...we'll see after I move it from my studio to rehearsal space. Will try 'no mids' tonight...can't wait.

All of a sudden the solo footswitch does work. the light doesn't come on on the pedal like it usually does. Any ideas? Is there a switch or something that controls that? The channel switching works fine. Also, the Solo knob actually adds gain even though its not engaged. Thanks!

Thanks for the tips guys. It's fixed for now I should have checked this first, but the tube that Mesa sent me was bad. I put in my other crackling tube and the reverb works again. They probably just sent me a tube from the shop floor or something. :D

I've left a couple of messages at Mesa, looks like some folks are on vacation... Anyone have an idea of what I can look for?
