    Mark IIC++ Hetfield mod

Why ruin an amp with enough gain as it is?? I think anyone who wants to mod a C+ to a C++ should just buy a different amp.

How much work to remount my MKIII combo in a head cab?

Contact GTS or Mesa/Boogie directly for a head cabinet. Plan on spending about $300 for a new one, $200+ for a used one if you can find one.

my C+ Coli that survived an f-5 twister

Totoliseum+ By far the most awesome story I've read on here yet! Sounds like your amp needs a part time job on Stormchasers!

    Simul-Class Crunch Berries

Actually, it was ordered and delivered as a loaded 15" head with matching 4x12 from Mesa (I have all the original receipts).

    Simul-Class Crunch Berries

Hey everyone, I've never seen any decent pics of a 15" DRG C+ anywhere on the net. I had my amp taken apart, so I thought it would be a good time to shoot a few pics and let those who appreciate such a thing check it out.

    Looking at vintage Marks

Yeah that does look like a good deal.

your favourite settings on MkII A B C

My C+ is set up as followed: Volume-7 Treble-8 Bass-3 Mid-1 Master- 1-3 Lead drive-8 Lead master-6 All pots are pulled out Graphic EQ is set to a subtle V Presence 7 Reverb 1 I'll take a pic and post it later. I get the best balance of dirty/clean with these settings.

    Mesa Boogie Quality Control

I sent my C+ to Boogie a while back to be fully serviced. Not only did it come back basically new, but it left getting the same burn in/QC tests as the new amps. My Mark V works perfect after 4 years of HARD use (200+ gigs). Maybe your delivery driver is "going downtown" in the ways of Ace Ventura.

    Old Rectifiers over priced??

I'd keep my eyes peeled on Craigslist for a recto that sits a while. Musicians get hungry too.

    Looking at vintage Marks

The Mark IV is a lot more compressed sounding to my ears as opposed to a C+ or even a III. If you're looking for those fat vintage leads, I'd consider a IIB or IIC.

    Studio 22+

I'd just take it to a certified Mesa tech and have em do it. Couldn't cost very much.
