All, Bought an '83 Mark IIC combo and only wanted the guts out of it. Left over is the blonde combo shell with speaker. Cab is in decent condition for being 30 years old. Has some blemishes but is in overall good shape. Comes with Eminence 1x12 legend speaker and cover. Should fit short...

    Need Mark IV tech help

I blew out the footswitch circiut on my Mark IV and it had the same exact symptoms. Better take it in.

Do Mark IIIs vary significantly amp to amp?

I had a blue stripe Mark III and I freaking hated it. It fed back like crazy and sounded really fizzy. I spent big bucks trying to get that amp to sound good and I ended up trading it for a Triaxis because it never sounded right.

I had an early Dual Rectifier that was doing the same thing (blowing fuses, red tubes) and it turned out being failed resistors in the bias. I'd take it to an authorized Boogie repair shop and get it checked out before you make it worse.

The 15 watt or "1/2 Power" setting is all I use, live and in the studio. The amp is insanely loud at 15 watts and stupid loud at full power. I love it.

    Simul-Class Crunch Berries

The long chassis heads (100&Simul) have used the same face plates on occasion. My amp was made with all the extra stuff laying around at the end of production, so that would be why.

    Simul-Class Crunch Berries

I was under the assumption that the 15" designation added to the chassis code signified all widebody units, heads and combos alike. I found this article which seems to coralate with my hypothesis: http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=18184 Nevertheless, my amps serial number is...
