Videos of my first "real" gig! (Roadster content)

My dad's fraternity friend, Bill Oliver (who was also Shawn Lane's best friend, he's the guy on the right in the videos), was playing at a local bar, so we thought we'd drop by and see them play. Well, I happened to have my guitar in the car, so they asked if I wanted to sit in. I was a little...

FS: Tom Anderson Pro Am (1986)

Up for sale is my 1986 Tom Anderson Pro Am. This gem was made back when Tom Anderson Guitarworks really hit the scene in the mid eighties as one of the world’s premier guitar companies. In fact, this Pro Am has the rarer, more collectible ball headstock. You don’t find these often, and I’d...

FS: 1990 Ibanez RG770FM Flame Maple (exc condition)

I'm in need of some cash here, so I've decided to sell my 1990 RG770FM. This thing is an absolute rare beauty. I'd say it's in near mint condition, save one tiny little ding. It has a bound Wizard neck with a cosmo black Edge tremolo. The guitar has also recently had its frets leveled too by...

    Some Questions

All right, I'll let you know when I get the amp. It will defintely be a Mesa, at this point either a Stiletto, MK IV, or Roadster. A friend of mine really wants me to come try his Roadster before I buy, as he loves it.

    Some Questions

All right, thanks for the info guys. Does anyone know which series of MK IV Petrucci is using/has used?

    Some Questions

Well, I've been in the market for a new amp for quite sometime, but I just couldn't seem to make my mind up. I'm really into hard rock (Whitesnake, etc), heavy blues rock (Eric Gales, Trower), virtuoso rock (Vai, Satriani), and progressive rock (Dream Theater, etc) Having said that, I had been...

Combining Mesa Dual Rec with Bogner or Marshall

    Even better! That's awesome.

Combining Mesa Dual Rec with Bogner or Marshall

I've never had an amp with a slave output. When you hook another amp to the slave output, is the power amp of the Mesa completely bypassed? Or does the preamp of the Mesa go to both the power amp of the Mesa itself and the Marshall?

Combining Mesa Dual Rec with Bogner or Marshall

How does each head have its own independent cabinet? I thought you would just use the speaker output on the JCM800. Anyways, this sounds like a very good idea.

    Raodster vs. Road King II

Same price difference for the heads? I'm mainly interested in heads, not combos.

    Raodster vs. Road King II

Thanks for the help guys! I'm still contemplating on whether or not to get the Roadster. I also want a Marshall JCM800 2203, and my ideal rig would be complete. Since the JCM is a Marshall, I can stick to that for the EL-34 Brit sound. I'm thinking that the Progressive Linkage might be somewhat...

    Raodster vs. Road King II

I'm thinking RKII as well. Can it venture into Marshall/Stiletto land? I've played a Stiletto as well, and loved it too.

Choosing A Mesa; Advice Needed (Long)

Can the RKII achieve similar (I know exactly is impossible) tone to a Mark II C+?

    Raodster vs. Road King II

First off, sorry if this topic has been covered before. Anyways, I tried out a Roadster 100w head today with an EBMM Petrucci signature. I was BLOWN away. The cleans were amazing, especially for a Rectifier (I've played Recto's before, but was never impressed that much). Then when I switched to...

Stiletto owners that can get close to EVHish tone (series1)

So is that EVH "bown sound" feasible with a Stiletto?
