    I really like the clean channel :D Loop is on. I owned a Hiwatt 50 watt 1x12 combo for many years and can duplicate the tone I got from that amp. Been considering a chorus for the Recto for some time, I think that is my next purchase.

    Like you I have two pedals in the effects loop; a digital delay and a 6 band EQ. I have the Mix set at 100% and the Send set at 12 o'clock. I have the Output set at 11 o'clock and the Solo set at 12 o'clock. This is what works for me 8) . Where you play will most likely determine what setting...

    I run the MXR 6 band EQ in the loop, this gives it more clarity. I also have Dimarzio Steve's Special pickups in two of my Strats for that extra thick and chunky tone :D

    Hey Mortalman, I have a Warmoth Strat as well, Dimarzio Steve's Special in the bridge, Pro Track in the neck, also the TU-2 and NS-2, and the MXR 6 band eq. Small world.

    I believe Primal is correct. Did you go to the Mesa website and watch the video with Petrucci? If not, check it out. He takes you through his rig and what amps he uses for particular songs. Very in depth. Good Luck :D

    Distortion pedal recommendations???

    Hey Clutch, the search for ultimate tone is quite an endeavor. I purchased a Dual Rectifier two months ago after using a Carvin Legacy for the last 4 years (a great amp), and have no need for overdrive/distortion pedals anymore. Good luck on your search!

    EQ in Loop of Dual Recto..and how is you recto EQ'ed?

    I have the MXR 6-band EQ running through the effects loop on my three channel Duel Rectifier. The only thing I've found is to back off on the low end on the EQ or it turns to mud (or poo). Just my two cents.
