Yeah I have done that, I don't know I think maybe my problem is preamp tubes, who knows, I'll star there and see how it goes. Any recommendations for preamp tubes?

What does running a patch cable directly from the send to the return of the effects loop do? I saw a guy who did it with his MK 3 and I was curious.

Another question, I saw this guy that ran a patch cable from the send straight to the return in the effects loop, what does that do?

You might need to take the chassis out, I have a red stripe mark 3 and if I am replacing anything other than power tubes I have to do this. It isn't that hard, just removing the four screws on the top of the amp. Cheers

Yeah its got the Black Shadow speaker in it. Question. I know that if you use tubes other than mesas that the amp needs to be rebiased. It currently has EH preamp tubes in it, is bias an issue as well? if so can that be solved simply by going back to mesa tubes? Cheers
