    Head Cabinet Cost???

I have a 1x12 DC-2 combo. I want to convert it to a head. Anyone have an approximate idea of how much a simple tolex head cabinet would cost and if anyone could build one other than Mesa?

Fillmore 25 Combo - Now What???

Hello everyone in forum land! Here is my story: I have a Marshall JCM 2000 100 watt head that I run through a Marshall 1936 2x12 cab with vintage 30's. I love the tone I get. I run clean and use pedals in the front of my amp. Everything is great. It is just bulky and heavy. So, I decided to...

Why are Boogies Better than the rest?

Boogies are very excellent amplifiers, but there are other amps worth giving a shot. I love my Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100. Although, the only other amp I have owned that I liked as much tone-wise as a Boogie was a Laney AOR 50. It sounded great, but was a one-trick pony. My only Boogie now is a...

    NAD 50 Caliber + and Cab -w/pics!

I am going to try a few different tubes and see what happens. I do want to stay with a 12ax7, though.

    NAD 50 Caliber + and Cab -w/pics!

Also a quick question - since I am not running the gain high, I was wondering what preamp tube I could run in V1 to get a lower gain, mellow tone? I have a full compliment of JJ's in the amp now, which are what came with the amp.
