mark V 25 at band rehersal with downtuned stoner rock band

Mine picks up radio signals at practice from time to time as well. The power station will definately solve any volume issues you have. Can even add thunderous low end too (I have one but don't use it often) Being a 25 watt amp, speaker efficiency is very important. My first band rehearsal I...

    Mark V:25/Wall of Sound/Ownhammer Demo

The reason you would want to do this is to use IR's I ended up getting a DI box just so I could do what the OP suggested. My signal chain is MV25 speaker out->DI Box->Power stations (which does have a line out, but it is slightly colored to (sort of) emulate a speaker) I pull the balanced...

    Pedals that sound like Dyne

Not a pedal, but I recently picked up a Friedman Dirty Shirley Mini, and if there was ever an amp that reminded me of the Electra Dyne this is it. Big bottom end , on a freaking 20 watt amp. Unheard of. Very organic distortion. Not compressed at all. The gain structure might be a touch...

    Review of the Mark V:25

Its been about a year and a half for me and I still enjoy it very much. I Like cab clone. Don't love it. I think it does a good job though. That said I use it every week. And the V25 gets turned on almost every day. Typically at least 5 days a week.

NCD - Mesa Thiele with Fillmore speaker for Mark V:35

Very Nice I have had to put corners on in the past. Not easy, but doable I soaked them in water for a bit to make them a little more stretchy. When they initially went on they did not look "great", but once they dried they shrunk back up and looked like mesa did it. I would do it if I were...

    Mark 5:25 as a Combo

I will be interested to see what you come up with. Obviously the cab will be wider then the V25 chassis. So I will be curious what you come up with for this. Good luck!

Another Mark V:25 vs V:35 thread

I would play both if you can and see what you prefer. I own the 25 myself and use a 1x12 and have kept up in a two guitar band on 10 watts. Anyone having trouble keeping up volume wise with a 25 probably has there cab aimed at the back of there calves. Never played the 35 so can't comment...

New Addiction... Mesa Mark V 35

In the boogie site it is this one. http://www.mesaboogie.com/cabinets--simulators/guitar-cabinets--simulators/compact-series/1x12-widebody-closed-back.html However I got mine with a vintage 30 and a boogie logo to match the Mark V25 (which obviously would be the same for the 35 and 90) I bought...

New Addiction... Mesa Mark V 35

Now as everyone lists the 1x12 cabs they use, let me try to be the first I am using the compact 1x12 wide body front ported cab with a vintage 30 with my V25 and it sounds huge. It could be in my head but the front porting and extra width make it sound large to me.
