Is it definitely a Multi Watt? The Multi Watts came stock with a serial effects loop. Shouldn't be any weird phasing. I know the parrallel effects loop do have issues, which are on the older 3-channel dual.
I recently got rid of my Mesa Mini head and cab but I found that using an EQ pedal in the loop helped some. It allowed me to add some bass and dial out that AM Radio sound.
I've been trying to find some good clean sounds on my roadster as well and managed to dial in a nice clean last night.
channel 1: Tweed; Gain: 12:00; Treble: 2:00; Mids: 9-10:00; Bass: 2:00; Presence: Maxed; Master: 11:00
channel 2: Fat; Gain: 11:00; Treble: 2:00; Mids: 9:00; Bass: 1:00...

so, I've had the Roadster for a few weeks now and I'm loving it. The added clean channels and modes are nice. I love the tweed setting on channel 1 and the fat setting using channel 2.
One thing I noticed about the Tweed and Brit mode is that there isn't any reverb (or anything noticeable)...
cool, thanks for the replies. it usually sounds awesome in youtube videos but I see a lot of threads here where people are unhappy with their roadsters.
Right now I have a dual rec multi-watt that I'm selling on Saturday and a 2008 dual rec that I'm trading on Sunday for a roadster. Originally I was trying to trade the multi-watt for a roadster but someone offered to buy it. Then last week I traded a strat for the 2008 dual rec. I think I...
