    Question on Mark V-90

    Hello Folks, I see lots of photos of the Mark V-90 combos...some have the metal cage over the power tubes and some have a solid metal bar across the entire back of the cabinet. What is the current solution, and when did it change from the previous one? Thanks! Michael

    Well, I have not received the stewmac parts yet, but I did some minor surgery on the existing pot..basically a shaft transplant. I removed the broken plastic shaft and replaced it with a solid brass shaft from another donor pot. While I had the pot open, I gave the guts a good deoxit cleaning...

    I used to own what I now believe is a very rare beast…..a Mesa Boogie Mark iic+ Colosseum head in white tolex, with the matching 4x12 cabinet (1/2 open, half closed).
