Incoming TA-30 ... Anticipation is killing me!!!

As versatile as it is, I bought it solely because the top boost mode alone was already bloody fantastic 8)

Stiletto newb looking for tone tips

IMO, to get a more Marshall tone, you need to have the treble up more. You could always run the treble lower, but it doesn't sound very Marshall at all Also, for anyone else that is keen to try this out, I've found that if a tone is ever too bright, you could try lower the master volume ever so...

    Which Boogie Amp?

IMO, you should check out the Transatlantic TA-30 if you can, albeit it has been discontinued

Mesa Road King mk I 2nd channel-other amp with such voicing?

How's about the clean mode? Just curious of your thoughts as I do own a Roadster head as well. Basically the same preamp as your Road King II. Personally, I dig both modes for different textures and flavours if you will

Mesa Road King mk I 2nd channel-other amp with such voicing?

Not to discredit what you hear, because you hear what you hear, and there's nothing wrong with that. But the Road King II cleans are also based on the Lonestar circuitry

Was hoping for this forum to grow more....

It's under the Recto series, yes. But my point was it wasn't the Single and Dual Recto tones that metalheads were looking for. It had it's own great tone, but it was ignored by many
