Hi all, I looked into my DC3 to convert the loop to serial, but obviously the color coding of the wires is different... Here's a pic I snapped of the gut of the amp at the FX loop point. Can anybody tell me what to disconnect/re-solder? Thanx L.

Hey riggles! Thanx for the reply, I actually already saw that page you linked and asked Mesa support about the adaptability of the DC3 head (I took the chassis off the combo) to one of their rackmount sets, but haven’t got any answer so far... I guess the width should fit, what I’d like to have...

Any idea where to find them? Contact Mesa directly? I have 2 DC3s, I'm thinking of a crazy idea of rackmounting them together with the rest of my rack stuff (Triaxis, GCX, System Mix Plus, Lexicons and Eventides) and use them as separate preamps and as a stereo power amp... Just an idea...it...

Thanx That could be an option, I’ll look into that. The only issue is that I’d like to use the two amps in a stereo configuration, so different speakers on the sides could be weird...

Bringing back this topic to ask a question: I've managed to have the TA work with the setup, but...It just doesn't sound right: I mean, it looks like the TA/DC3 power section isn't a good combination as all lead tones sound shrill and lack air and depth, clean tones sound small and not dynamic...

I belive I hve the opposite issue: one of my two DC3 is now defective in channel switching as I think the amp's switch jack is broken: I plugged the male jack in sometime ago and it won't go fully in (no pun intended... :? ) so I stupidly forced it in an heard some metal "clinking"...I guess the...
