I've done about 20 gigs with this handle and no problem at all. The only improvement I can think of is a thicker belt. If I see one I grab it, but otherwise pretty happy with this.

Hi Rob. The steel strap has never broken on me and have never heard of them failing. It the sheath that goes around the metal strap that wears out

I think I have a decent solution for those handles that don't last. That is the stainless steel strap covered with a rubber like outer. I found that the strap will fit into a standard 1 inch stitched belt. Got a belt from a thrift shop for $3 to try it out. l will update on how it goes after 4...

Looking to do similar. ie ch 1 /2 button and solo button -each with led. I'll let you know if I find a solution.

Interesting Don. I found with the F30. I would have it set to about 10 and then wind it up to 2 for something like "wedding cake island". The 5 25 is usually set at 8 and never gets above 12. Don't mind that at all

Happy Update. Allan's music has re-opened in Adelaide where I live and are stocking some Mesa products. Opening sale 30% off !!!!! Can't believe my luck. I'll pick up my 5:25 combo tomorrow :D. I can sit it on top of the F30 for now and look at a new cab when the finances recover.

I've kept my V-Twin for emergencies and regard it as one of my better purchases. It made my Red Knob Twin sound really good !!!! I think it might have been pulled from the market because it did such a good job of making average amps sound excellent that it was effecting the amp sales :D I think...

I have a plan. Since I'm not in a hurry, I'll look out for a ext cab to use with my F-30 and make a judgement from that. Thanks again for you comments
