Tone wise no difference. The midi features is what i bought it for. Had it awhile now and can't fault it. Works as advertised and easy to set up.
Here is a pic of it in my pedal drawer.
I’ve finally worked it out. If you dial up those settings on Crunch mode and blend it with a Diezel VH4 on channel 3 with the well documented settings he use for that you nail his tone. It does this weird phase thing like they’re only 20 degrees out of phase or something and it sounds unreal!
Honestly dude go and try a Diezel VH4. Channel 3 sounds like a Mark series amp but with that big thick massive chunky chest pumping low end that I think your looking for. I’ll probably get banned for saying this, but since owning one I don’t play my Mesa’s anymore they seem inadequate. Although...

Sounds like you have the wrong amp for what you want. Mark series amps are unforgiving with there immediacy and accuracy in pick attack. That’s if I’m understanding what you mean correctly ? Normally I’d say to raise the gain and boost it but thats not what you want either. That helps notes mosh...
Somewhere in the manual I recall reading that the cab clone was designed to be used with lower volume and wattage settings. Even though it’s rated for 100 watts it states something along the line of not to be used as an amp attenuator.
Hey Reza I just bought a VH4 because of your YouTube vids. You actually own all the amps I want, a Diezel, IIC+ and a Wizard. Awesome playing as usual.
Willie uses fishman flience, has done for the last few years. Even has a signature set and they are awesome I have them in one of his signature ESP’s. They are a crazy hot pickup and it’s the same ones you see in his latest videos for Mesa Boogie. They are both active and passive. But yeah I...
